CFI / CFII

Course Description

The Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) and Certified Flight Instructor Instrument (CFII) courses are designed to train pilots to teach others how to fly. This program focuses on developing instructional skills, advanced aeronautical knowledge, and the ability to safely train student pilots.

Prerequisites:

  • Hold at least a Commercial Pilot Certificate
  • Meet the minimum flight hour requirements set by the FAA

How We Do It

Our structured curriculum combines ground instruction with flight training. Experienced instructors guide students through advanced teaching techniques, scenario-based training, and real-world application. The course includes classroom discussions, one-on-one instruction, and practical teaching exercises.

Course Completion

Upon completion, students will have:

  • Mastered the ability to provide flight instruction for Private and Commercial Pilot certificates
  • Demonstrated proficiency in advanced flight maneuvers and instructional techniques
  • Passed the FAA Knowledge Test for Certified Flight Instructors
  • Completed a practical test with an FAA examiner

CFI Program:

  • 25 hours of flight training
  • 25 hours of ground training

CFII Program:

  • 15 hours of instrument flight training
  • 15 hours of ground training focused on instrument instruction
